Laion, our hometown
The fact that a singing bird is represented in the coat of arms of our home village is no coincidence: after all, the fraction Novale in Laion is considered the probable birthplace of the minnesinger Walther von der Vogelweide! Historically, however, Laion is also interesting because of the archaeological finds at Wasserbühel hill, which date back to the Neolithic Age. Visitors and locals love the village at the entrance to the Val Gardena, but above all because of the landscape, the hospitality, the culinary delights, and the countless leisure activities that make a holiday here an experience!
