In 2023, the Proderhof will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary. Our history is closely linked to our family, which runs the farm in the 3rd generation and as a well-coordinated team: From the senior farmers who support the farm to the best of their abilities – grandma Annemarie making the beds and in the kitchen, grandpa Walter on the farm, to the farming couple Stephan and Verena with their children Simon (9) and Marie (7), who are also already diligently helping out on the Proderhof.
Our work
We have been running the farm since 2010. Stephan works on the farm and in the fields, in the stable, in the parlour, a real man for all occasions. Verena’s realm is the kitchen, her passion is the preparation of local delicacies with fresh products – and the warm-hearted welcome of our guests, who immediately feel at home at the Proderhof!
Our values
On holiday and yet at home: the family atmosphere that awaits our guests here at the Proderhof is as genuine and authentic as the Isarco Valley itself. Whether playing with the children, enjoying a glass of wine together or taking part in one of the numerous traditional festivals in the area. Roots are important to us: they are the foundation of our hospitality.
Our history
The Proderhof was acquired by grandfather Johann Lageder in 1960. In 1980, the farm was taken over by Stephan’s father Walter. In 2010 Stephan and Verena took over the farm. In 2023, the Proderhof, now run by the 3rd generation, celebrates its first 50 years of farm holidays. Just in time for this milestone, the renovation of the entire house with the new holiday apartments and suites is also finished, and we are eagerly awaiting the first guests!
Experience & enjoy
On request, we are happy to accompany our guests on hiking tours and skiing excursions, free of charge of course – just like the hiking tours organised by the local tourist association.
